If you are like me, you are working non stop to pursue your goals and dreams. As you may know from reading my previous posts you know that I am building my brand and helping others. On top of that I work a full time job in marketing.
eat whatever was around me because it was free and sitting there. I would also buy snacks or I would go out to eat because I wanted to be social. I wouldn’t care what I ordering because I was enjoying time with my friends. I got to the point where I was so focused on my job, finances, and my social life where I didn’t care what I ate and I got lazy. I knew that I had to change, I couldn’t continue living this way.
Even if it is a quick 20 minute walk on your lunch or an hour long gym session after work, make sure you take time to move. My co-workers even take a lap around the suite or the halls on the hour every day. When people around you have the same goals, it makes it easier to get yourself moving.
When I started to focus on living a healthy active lifestyle, I started to meal prep on the weekends for the week. I would make enough food to last until Friday. I am not goingto lie, the busier I have been the lazier I have been. I started to forget to prep or do other things instead, then I would buy my food at work. I noticed a few things start to happen over time. I started to over spend, eat whatever looked good that day, and my small meals throughout the day fell apart. I noticed myself getting tired, bloated, and broke. I knew things had to change.
Luckily, I discovered this amazing company called Model Meals. They have locations in both Southern and Northern California. Model Meals has been such an amazing partner. This past week I have noticed my energy go up and my waist get smaller. I have been more productive because I am not stressing over food. The best part is I get a new meal every day so I don’t have to worry about getting bored after a few days of the same thing!
